The Role, Told as a Day-in-the-Life

You start your morning walking the facility, noting areas where fresh paint will make the difference. With an upcoming AAALAC visit on the calendar, your first priority is painting and touch-up work to ensure a clean, compliant appearance. After wrapping a coat and verifying finish quality, you shift to preventative care—circling through plant and office areas to catch issues before they become downtime.

As requests come in, you move seamlessly between tasks : a quick carpentry fix here, a plumbing adjustment there, then over to a machine that needs troubleshooting. You rely on your multitrade knowledge—painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and even welding when needed—to keep operations running.

What You’ll Take On

• Primary near-term focus on painting and touch-up painting in preparation for an upcoming AAALAC visit.
• Repairs and maintenance throughout plant and office facilities, as well as on production machines and equipment.
• Work spanning key trades : carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine / equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
• Routine, periodic, and special inspections to identify needed work and prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
