Looking for an estimator with an AutoCAD background that has roots and strong relationships in the Phoenix market.

• Designs fire protection sprinkler systems with accuracy
• Work with the Sales and Technical staff to interpret project specifications and drawings, determining system layout.
• Perform to a professional standard for accurate, neat, error free work, as determined by the department manager.
• Complete engineering requests in accordance with sound business practices and general corporate policies.
• Review individual drawings to ensure completeness and accuracy of work performed.
• Understand and utilize company-drafting procedures.
• Actively participate in personal and professional development and maintain knowledge of current and new technologies that the company offers.
• Promote a team environment, assisting other Design Engineers with their projects. Performs other related duties as required and / or assigned by Management.

ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES :

The basic function is to prepare cost estimates and price quotations on new commercial sales and coordinate the preparation of cost estimates on project continuations.

Act as the final say in the calculation, analysis, and adjustment of estimates
