Strategic Meeting & Events Coordinator (Hybrid)
Rate : $25 to $29 / hour
Join our global strategic management team, a group of experts dedicated to utilizing compliant, standardized processes in all channels to deliver an outstanding customer and partner experience. We are seeking a highly collaborative and experienced professional to provide project management expertise and direction, specializing in the logistical and compliance oversight of high-stakes external interactions within the pharmaceutical sector.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves strategic oversight operations across external meetings, advisory boards, and other services activities with a strong project management approach.
Compliance Leadership : Ensure all meetings and events interactions with external parties adhere to Global Standards and all relevant policies and procedures, maintaining a state of audit readiness.
Meeting Program Management : Provide project management expertise and direction to ensure the fulfillment of meeting expectations, considering both business needs and stakeholder relationships (including Thought Leaders).
Strategic Collaboration : Establish and maintain internal strategic partnerships with compliance, finance, procurement, and legal functions to ensure compliance requirements are seamlessly integrated into the meeting planning and contracting process.
Vendor Management : Effectively lead, collaborate, and manage multiple relationships with external vendors (e.g., Meeting Planning Companies) and partners to positively impact customer experience and execution.
Process Optimization : Support the meeting program through multiple systems and tools, identifying and initiating optimization opportunities connected with processes, systems, and people.
Required Qualifications
Pharmaceutical Event Experience is a Requirement : Minimum of 1-3 years of meetings and events background within the pharmaceutical industry or a highly regulated sector.
Bachelor's degree and / or equivalent relevant working experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey program-related education and policies clearly to stakeholders.
Demonstrated proficiency with systems and applications such as MS Office 365.
Strong sense of urgency in managing workload while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Demonstrated problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills required to manage and communicate complex issues.
High learning ability and flexibility to adapt to a fast-changing environment with a strong customer focus.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision; understands when to escalate issues.
