Location : Dallas, TX

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Portfolio Accountant with 2-5 years of experience in Big 4 public accounting to join our growing team. In this role, you will translate your strong accounting principles and auditing expertise to the fast-paced world of hedge funds. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely accounting of our investment portfolio, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with portfolio managers, traders, and other members of the finance team to deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in public accounting with a Big 4 firm (or similar experience).
  • Proven understanding of US GAAP and strong technical accounting skills.
  • Experience with auditing complex financial instruments and investment portfolios (a plus).
  • Proficiency in accounting software General Ledger) and financial modeling tools Excel).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for the financial services industry and a desire to learn about alternative investments.
