Brief Job Description
- Using Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) techniques and practices to teach young children how to communicate, play, socialize, and become independent and happy citizens of the world
- Implement Behavior Plans – Work with a Clinical Manager to implement individualized behavior plans
- Follow Structured Activities - Follow and implement programs within structured activities set during center/preschool time
- Implement Skill Acquisition Programs – Work with children while implementing programs established in each program (Ex. Behavior Chaining, Direct Instruction, Functional Communication Training, Incidental Training, and more)
- Data Collection – While conducting programs with patients, gather substantive data as written by the Clinical Manager
- Parent Training – Explain processes and rationale to parents of patients
- Document and communicate any educational, behavioral, or family concerns in a timely manner to Clinical Managers or any other clinical teams.
- Communicate with administrative staff regarding any administrative tasks
- Follow and report any mandated reporting incidents
- Performance of other reasonably related duties as assigned
- Most of all....implement creativity, joy, empathy, and good clinical judgment throughout session times
The ideal candidate
- Full-Time (30-40 hrs/wk): Monday through Friday fully available
- Part-Time (6-29 hrs/wk): 12pm-7pm or 3-7pm
Part-Time Days:
1) Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
2) Tuesday and Thursdays
3) Monday through Friday
Qualifications
- Working with people with autism
- Working with people with developmental disabilities
- RBT Certification (preferred, not required)
- High School Diploma okay, but Bachelor's Preferred
- Demonstrate proof of ability to work in the US,
- Valid Driver's License/Auto Insurance
- Ability to write, speak, and understand English
- Pass a federal background check
- Show proof of immunization (TB, TDap, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Polio, etc.) - COVID vaccine not required
- Ability to life 50 pounds, sit, stand, twist, and move for long periods of time
