Medical Director – Advanced Heart Failure

University Health seeks an accomplished  Medical Director of Advanced Heart Failure to lead the growth and excellence of our expanding heart failure program. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of advanced cardiovascular care in South Texas.

Role Highlights :

• Provide clinical and strategic leadership for a comprehensive advanced heart failure program.
• Oversee outpatient and inpatient services, advanced therapies (LVAD, ECMO), and the development of future transplant capabilities.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams focused on improving outcomes and reducing readmissions.
• Partner with system leaders to expand regional referral networks and establish University Health as a center of excellence.
