Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field, active Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification, and 1+ years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Job Title : Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (D / HH)

Location : Tacoma, Washington

Type : Full Time

Start / End Dates : October 20, 2025 - June 16, 2026

Responsibilities :

• Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and staff.
• Develop and implement personalized education plans.
• Conduct assessments and identify children with potential hearing loss.

Qualifications :

Pay : Competitive starting at $40 per hour.
