Job Details – Lawton, Oklahoma Healthcare Jobs Location : Lawton, Oklahoma (73505) Facility : 36-bed Emergency Department Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Start Date : November 13, 2025 End Date : February 12, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Hours per Week : 36 Shift : 12 Hour Nights Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,470 - $1,570 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma or compact state Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, and PALS TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain) At least 1 year of experience in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or high-acuity healthcare settings Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and rapid decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress emergency situations ER Nurse Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive and focused assessments for patients with emergent, urgent, or non-urgent conditions Triage patients using evidence-based protocols to determine acuity and initiate appropriate emergency care Deliver rapid intervention and stabilization for medical, surgical, trauma, psychiatric, and pediatric emergencies Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to hospital policy and provider orders Operate and monitor medical equipment including cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, and point-of-care testing devices Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, EMS, and other healthcare professionals Coordinate patient care, diagnostic testing, re-evaluation, disposition planning, and patient education Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record Participate in rapid response, trauma activations, code blue, stroke, and STEMI protocols Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety guidelines, and hospital standards Support a culture of patient-centered care, empathy, and service excellence in a high-volume Emergency Department Apply now to join our healthcare team as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Lawton, Oklahoma, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
