Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators and Machine Operator Assistants to support our operations team. The ideal candidate will assist sheeting operators by setting up rolls, inspecting sheets, and ensuring all products meet our quality standards. This role involves performing various tasks, including testing, inspecting, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist sheeting operators with setting up rolls and other duties.
• Take off completed sheets from sheeter, inspect sheets based on quality standards, and ensure sheets are cut to appropriate sizes.
• Perform testing and inspection of sheets.
• Perform housekeeping duties and other assigned tasks.

Work Environment

Work in a 24 / 7 facility with around 170 employees. Shifts are 8 hours long, with positions available on the 1st shift (7 am-3 pm, Monday to Friday) and the 3rd shift (11 pm-7 am, Sunday to Thursday). The environment is not climate-controlled, and personal protective equipment such as steel-toed safety footwear, safety glasses, hearing protection, and cut-resistant gloves is required. We provide gloves, earplugs, and safety glasses. Safety is a top priority, and there is an opportunity for overtime.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75 / hr.
