Compensation Manager
LaSalle Network is hiring for a Compensation Manager on behalf of one of the largest auto companies in the US. The Compensation Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, administering, and maintaining a variety of compensation programs including long-term equity plans, short-term incentive plans, and company-wide pay structures. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the organization's compensation strategies support business objectives and attract, retain, and reward top talent.
Compensation Manager Responsibilities :
- Partner with HRBPs and business / operational leaders to design, implement, and maintain competitive compensation programs, including both base pay and variable incentive plans.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on compensation-related topics, providing insights and recommendations that align with organizational goals and compliance standards.
- Manage recurring compensation processes such as annual merit reviews, incentive payouts, budgeting, salary structure analysis, and wage compliance audits.
- Lead the annual long-term incentive program, overseeing eligibility determinations, award calculations based on company performance, dividend and pricing adjustments, communication materials, and rollout training.
- Identify and execute opportunities to enhance compensation plan design, system administration, communication strategies, and reporting accuracy within HR systems.
- Ensure all compensation programs are executed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
Compensation Manager Requirements :
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years of compensation analysis experience.Distribution or retail industry preferred.Experience managing a compensation program including broad-based, executive compensation, and long-term incentive plans.Strong relationship-building and consulting abilities across all organizational levels.In-depth knowledge of compensation theory, market analysis, incentive design, and equity compensation principles.Advanced Excel and analytical skills.This position offers a flexible hybrid working model in Elmhurst, IL.
