Construction Manager
At Jacobs, we're helping our clients innovate and grow by designing, engineering, and executing the construction of their advanced water / wastewater facilities that are changing our world. We're looking for a Construction Manager to be based in the Portland Area who is excited about working on projects supporting our clients' business and business practices. Join us and you'll have the chance to work on utility construction projects including water / wastewater, treatment facilities, and pipeline. Relevant experience includes structural concrete, vaults, conveyance / pipeline, pump / lift stations, tanks, basins, integration & controls, and mechanical install. You will be expected to be able to work with clients and contractors with the knowledge of construction practices including change management, safety, quality assurance, scheduling, estimating, price negotiations, and oversight of day-to-day activities. By developing and delivering on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules, you'll help our teams achieve our client's objectives. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field OR equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.
10+ years of proven experience in Construction Management working on clean water / wastewater projects or related projects.
Knowledge of construction including material, methods, plans and specifications; associated safety requirements.
Required to have and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
