About The Position

• 1 : 2 patient ratios
• Travel experience

Description :

Two travelers are needed on Labor and Delivery days.

Candidates must have two years of experience and travel experience.

The nursing staff works with a patient ratio of 1 : 2.

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers.

Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and FHM are required.

Experience with Cerner EMR is necessary.

Candidates should have previously charged experience.

Skills required include administration of blood products and labor support.

Candidates should be proficient in assisting with labor and delivery procedures.

Experience with different pharmacological management in labor is essential.

The nursing staff will provide support for breastfeeding and maternal care.

The facility handles 100-200 births per month.

Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and social services, is expected.

Candidates may float within the hospital.

Candidates must adhere to infection control and isolation precautions.

Good communication and assessment skills are necessary for patient care.
