• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development.
• 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
• Experience with the following : C++, Java, and System Design.

The BigLake team's mission is to evolve BigQuery into the world's best data lake house platform. Apache Iceberg is rapidly emerging as the de facto table format for the modern lake house, allowing many engines to operate on a single copy of data to power interoperable data and AI workloads with high performance and low cost.

As a member of the BigLake team, you will be responsible for building the BigLake Iceberg REST catalog and helping its customers succeed.
