Program Financial Analyst (Edgewood, MD)

Job Description

This position will provide life-cycle accounting, analytical support and finance partnering expertise to Program Managers from pricing proposals through financial reporting of those Programs. Partner with the Program Managers to manage the WBS structure and ensure that actual costs are maintained in SAP and all relevant costs are budgeted and accounted for on a timely basis. Forecasting to include sales (revenue recognition), inventory, gross margin, and cash. This role will work closely with staff from various Smiths sites along with financial staff at our Headquarters located in the UK.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Forecasting and Reporting To provide ongoing analytical financial support to the Program Manager to facilitate the preparation of financials, to support detailed program reviews and identify key areas of risk and / or opportunity.
• In addition, to ensure the program financials are appropriately accounted for.
