Job Description

The Omni Royal Orleans Hotel is seeking a dedicated individual for the housekeeping role. This position includes maintaining assigned housekeeping areas, ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking of linen rooms, and servicing designated public areas to meet Omni standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure assigned linen room closets are stocked at par.
  • Empty guest room area (GRA) linens and garbage hourly or as needed.
  • Keep chute rooms clean and orderly.
  • Remove trays from guest floors.
  • Maintain cleanliness of corridors on guest room floors.
  • Keep areas around vending machines clean.
  • Move furniture upon request.
  • Complete guest requests promptly.
  • Follow proper linen receiving and delivery procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as requested by management.
  • Ensure work areas are clean and free of standing water, debris, or any objects that may obstruct safe, efficient, and effective job performance.

Qualifications

  • Able to maintain a 4-Diamond level of service.
  • Capable of collaborating with management on special projects.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 100 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, including entire work shifts.
  • Must perform repetitive motions as required by job duties.
