CED strives to pay a competitive wage in the industry and regional market. The pay range for this position is ($25-32). The benefit includes eligibility to participate in 1 of 3 different BCBS of IL medical plans, Dental (SunLife) Vision (EyeMed), Life and Disability Insurance, 401(k) with a generous 6% match on a 6% contribution, 11 Paid Holidays, 5 paid Sick Days (based on a full year of employment). Job Title–CNC Set Up Operator/Machinist-2nd shift

Our ideal candidate is a highly experienced machinist who can interpret engineering drawings, work with tight tolerances, and operate advanced machinery. Essential Job Functions:

1. Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions to set up and operate CNC machinery.

2. Maintain precision by working within a tolerance of ± 0.00010” across various materials.

3. Proficiently setup and operate 5-Axis Milling centers and/or Multi Spindle/Multi Turret lathes. Showcase competency in bench work and deburring tasks.

Basic Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience with Okuma & Doosan Dual Spindle Lathes

2. 5+ years of experience with Okuma & Doosan 5-Axis CNC Milling Centers

3. Can work 2nd shift hours 4:00pm-12:30am with OT until 3:30am. There is a $3.00/hr shift differential.
