Clinical Nurse Manager – Emergency Department (ED)

Schedule : Full-Time
Position Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our Emergency Department . This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating staff and resources, and ensuring patients receive timely, high-quality, and compassionate emergency care. The ED Nurse Manager also mentors nursing staff, supports professional development, and implements best practices to optimize patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring smooth workflows and efficient patient care.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance management to maintain a high-functioning nursing team.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Monitor departmental budgets, quality indicators, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive initiatives to improve safety, quality, and patient / family experience in the ED.
- Serve as a clinical role model, promoting professional development and accountability among nursing staff.
- Assist in direct patient care when necessary to support safe staffing and continuity of care.
