Job Title : Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Join a pioneering company known for its innovative robotic automation and material handling equipment. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will contribute to the assembly of sophisticated machinery used in the Food and Beverage and Chemical industries.

Responsibilities

• Use machine drawings, assembly drawings, control schematics, and bills of materials to proficiently build and troubleshoot as needed.
• Engage in reducing and eliminating non-value-added work throughout the organization.
• Utilize hand tools for tasks such as structural assembly, mechanical drive assembly, fluid control assembly, guard and cover assembly, mechanical assembly, and simple electrical assembly, ensuring quality workmanship and neatness.
• Complete quality assurance checks for Blue Books.
• Provide accurate documentation, including labor reporting, material issue / returns, material moves, and material scrap reports.
• Execute inventory re-ordering policies, including 'Kanban'.
• Prepare equipment for shipment, including machine teardown.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and well-lit facility on the 1st or 2ns shift, Monday to Thursday with a 30-minute lunch break. Enjoy the camaraderie of working in groups of 2-6 assemblers using Milwaukee tools. Overtime is voluntary on Fridays or Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pardeeville, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $23.50 / hr.
