This individual will lead the commercial and strategic sourcing aspects for BBUs to better meet our customers' rapidly growing infrastructure needs. Successful candidates will bring strong knowledge of battery and power component supply chains and proven ability to drive product roadmaps from concept through mass production. Key job responsibilities :

  • Capacity planning with strategic OEM partners, including supplier share of wallet / mix strategy
  • Drive process optimization efforts across the supply chain
  • Manage strategic inventory programs and inventory optimization initiatives
  • Foster and maintain OEM joint partnerships and relationships to ensure strong strategic alignment
  • Support NPI (New Product Introduction) during product qualification stages while maintaining global compliance and certifications
  • Present to senior leadership via written narrative
  • Basic qualifications :

  • 5+ years of related industry experience
  • 5+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience
  • 2+ years of data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of program, project or product management, or leading product implementation experience
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies
  • Experience in procurement practices working with engineering, supply chain and Tier 1 OEM partners
  • Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent)

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
