About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

• Charting system experience with Epic
• Telemetry experience

Description :

Must have New York nursing license in hand.

Specialty : SSDU RN

Weekend requirement : Every other weekend.

First-time travelers accepted.

Locals not accepted, must be more than 75 miles away.

Preferred charge experience.

Patient ratio experience : 5.

Float required to ICU and / or Med-Surg.

Patient care focuses on long-term pulmonary patients and surgical procedures requiring step-down care.

Daily census : 22 patients.

Unit staff includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.

Documentation and charting are performed using the Epic system.

Ability to manage cardiac drips without titration and provide non-invasive airway management is required.
