Since 1973, Jubilee has worked to provide high quality affordable housing and holistic support to those experiencing persistent economic hardship in the Adams Morgan and Columbia Heights neighborhoods of Washington D.C. Jubilee operates more than a dozen properties totaling more than 500 homes and has an active development pipeline of several hundred new affordable housing units in progress, including a integration of a first in kind aquaponics farm. Position Description
Jubilee Housing operates a continuum of housing and services for men and women returning to the community from incarceration, beginning with the earliest days home in transitional and SRO housing, through long-term, service enriched affordable housing.
The Department of Reentry Housing and Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Reentry Service Coordinator to support individuals who are ready for long term housing in a service enriched environment. The Coordinator will be responsible for 33 households across two affordable housing communities in the long-term service enriched part of the program. The Coordinator will be involved screening and selecting residents as well as accompanying them during their ongoing pursuit of life goals. The role will also provide support and leadership to two housing communities, nurturing a sense of belonging and purpose in a peer supported community. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing resources, advocacy, and guidance to ensure successful long-term reintegration into society.
