Diesel Fleet Technician Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fleet Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vehicles.
Job Description : Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on diesel-powered vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, including those related to fuel systems, electrical systems, and cooling systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
Collaborate with other technicians to ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and in good working condition.
Required Skills and Qualifications : Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in diesel technology or a related field preferred.
Experience : 3-5 years of experience in diesel vehicle maintenance and repair; ASE certification in medium / heavy-duty trucks and brakes preferred.
Certifications / Licenses : Valid drivers license required; CDL endorsement preferred.
