The Cloud and Connectivity organization is actively looking for an Linux Platform Engineer to join them. Do you like to solve challenges and have an interest in large scale impact? What You’ll Be Doing

You will work in our Infrastructure Hosting Platform area leading the strategy, engineering and development of Linux computing capabilities for On-premise and Cloud hosting.  You will also have an opportunity to partner with the AI / ML and High-Performance Computing (HPC) teams.   Additionally, you would be one of the senior Linux platform engineer directing the global Linux strategy for on-premises private cloud and public IaaS Linux services.

As part of our Linux leadership team will have the opportunity to improve our cloud Linux infrastructure service.   Our goal is to improve all aspect of our infrastructure availability and reliability through repeatable patterns, new architectural designs, improvements in observability to prevent outages to help increase value across the organization. The role will also provide guidance and direction to our global Lilly SMEs and outsourced operations to execution the daily operations associated with this area.

• Be Proactive - You will have groundbreaking chances to build secure, resilient, and reliable hybrid cloud services using proactive, predictive, and automated capabilities.
• Be Your Best - You will learn about new technologies, AI / ML based HPC, large scale GPU clustering, Infrastructure as Code, and Enterprise Scale Hyper Cloud providers, agile ways of working, and willingness to become an expert.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$64,500 - $158,400

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
