Job description
A company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join their Pharmacy team.
Key Responsibilities
Process pharmacy prior authorization requests and determine eligibility using company and vendor tools
Prepare and distribute prior authorization requests for review, responding to additional information requests
Communicate prior authorization outcomes and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Required Qualifications
1+ years of work experience in a pharmacy-related field
Active, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT)
Experience with customer service and phone etiquette
