Pride Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in Saint Louis, MO 63110. This is a 3 month contract with potential for extension.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining a highly professional environment, ensuring a collaborative relationship with patients and physicians.
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, manage patient flow, update charts, obtain vitals, perform EKGs, verify medications, and assist with phlebotomy as needed.
- Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and lab testing; prepare patients and exam rooms; and complete clinical documentation accurately and on time.
- Administer vaccines and medications (IM and subcutaneous) under provider orders; support medication renewals and authorizations per department guidelines.
- Coordinate patient care by scheduling tests, surgeries, and follow-up appointments; relay test results, route telephone messages, and support patient inquiries.
- Maintain clinic inventory, sterilize instruments, ensure compliance with HIPAA/OSHA standards, and participate in quality improvement, training, and continuing education.
Required:
- High School diploma
- 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Certified Medical Assistant from – NHA, AAMA or AMT.
- Basic Life Support certification - AHA

Location: Saint Louis, MO 63110
Schedule: 40 hours/week – Monday – Friday 7AM – 5:30PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00/Hour *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
