RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - Pre Op

Job Details :

Provide safe, quality patient care in the Peri-Operative area including Pre-op, Intra-op and Recovery

Assess patient status on admission to preop area and on a continuing basis

Coordinate nursing interventions and ensure readiness for discharge

Maintain competencies in conscious sedation administration and monitoring

Participate in pre- and post-op phone calls

Open, clean, and re-stock unit for the day

Current unencumbered State of Oregon license as a Registered Nurse required

Current CPR certification required

ACLS certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire date

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to complete within 90 days required

PALS certification preferred

Minimum of 3-5 years experience with at least 2 years in critical care, PACU or Medical Surgical Nursing preferred

Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing required

Must maintain expertise in safety principles, asepsis, sterile technique, and universal precautions

Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment while maintaining quality of work

Must be able to manage emergency situations in a calm and confident manner
