Position : Project Controls Specialist Location : Clackamas, OR Pay : $70, – $, per year Schedule : Monday – Friday | 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM Who We Are We are a high-precision manufacturing operation specializing in complex, close-tolerance machining. Our environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and quality-driven, supporting both prototype and production work. Team members work closely across departments to deliver reliable, on-time results for demanding customers. What You’ll Do Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed production schedules for machining projects using ERP / MRP systems and scheduling tools. Translate customer orders, drawings, and requirements into executable production plans, sequencing CNC milling, turning, grinding, welding, assembly, and inspection. Partner cross-functionally with engineering, machinists, quality, purchasing, and leadership to resolve scheduling conflicts and meet project milestones. Analyze shop capacity (machines, tooling, labor) to provide accurate lead times, workload forecasts, and manufacturing estimates. Monitor work-in-process on the shop floor, issue work orders / travelers, and adjust schedules in real time to address delays, shortages, or priority changes. Track performance metrics such as on-time delivery, schedule variance, and machine utilization; prepare status reports and dashboards for leadership. Support change control by assessing schedule and resource impacts from engineering or customer-driven changes. What’s In It for You Competitive pay with room for growth (k) with company matching Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Opportunity to work in a technically challenging, precision-driven manufacturing environment What You Need to Have Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing), or related field 3–5+ years of scheduling or production planning experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment Proven experience in project controls, master scheduling, or production planning The Musts ERP / MRP experience (JobBOSS, Epicor, SAP, or similar) Strong Excel skills for advanced scheduling and data analysis Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, GD&T, and routings Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Clear, professional communication skills across departments Preferred APICS / CPIM, PMI-SP, or similar certification Experience in aerospace, defense, or other precision manufacturing sectors
