What Youll Do

As a Bus Driver, youll safely transport students while providing high-quality, consistent communication with Dispatch and school partners. Youll lead by example, promote a positive culture, and help ensure each ride reflects Lake Countrys values of safety, respect, and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a bus along a designated route to pick up and drop off students at scheduled stops
• Follow all LCT policies, procedures, and safety standards, including the Pre-Trip Outline and Smith System concepts
• Arrive on time and prepared for shifts (typically 4 : 455 : 30 a.m. and 1 : 001 : 30 p.m.)
• Keep the interior and exterior of the van clean and presentable
• Maintain logs and reports, which may include mileage, fuel consumption, and student counts
• Communicate effectively with parents, scholars, teachers, and colleagues
• Demonstrate leadership, enthusiasm, and professionalism on and off the road
• Motivate and support fellow team members be a leader, not a follower
• Protect confidentiality and promote a healthy, productive company culture
• Solve problems using sound judgment and critical thinking skills
