NP / PA Dermatology Opportunity with BUMCT

Banner University Medical Group  is growing and interviewing Nurse Practitioners / Physician Assistants to provide exceptional patient care services as part of the Dermatology team. The position provides exposure to a wide range of procedures complexity levels, and patient cases, with a strong support system to help you develop your expertise. The scope of practice will be based on your skill level and professional interests. At least 50% of the practice focuses on General Dermatology. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient management, prescribing and managing medications, coordinating care, and referring for additional procedures as appropriate.

Practice Highlights

• Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Daytime Hours (One session of 4 hour block per week for Admin time)
• No Call
• 100% Ambulatory; Outpatient Only
• Performs comprehensive skin, hair, and nail examinations and formulates dermatologic diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Obtains and reviews dermatologic and general medical histories, ensuring thorough and accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests such as skin biopsies, fungal cultures, blood work, and imaging studies as appropriate for dermatologic conditions.
• Determines and implements evidence-based treatment plans for a wide range of acute and chronic dermatologic conditions (e.g., acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections, and skin cancers).
• Monitors patient progress, evaluates treatment effectiveness, and modifies care plans as clinically indicated.
