Job descriptionDays + Call Required MD #1 : 7 : 00a – 5 : 00p MD #2 : 7 : 00a – 1 : 00p MD #3 : 5 : 00p – 7 : 00a (Call) MD is 1st Call CRNA serves as backup call Travel : Full travel & lodging included EMR : Meditech General Surgery Orthopedics Urology Endoscopy Obstetrics (400 deliveries / year; ~136 after 6 pm Regional Anesthesia : Yes — proficiency required (Spinals, Epidurals, Blocks) OB / Epidurals : MD performs labor epidurals (especially after 6pm) 3 Anesthesiologists 7 CRNAs Combination of supervising & doing own cases depending on shift Board Certified (ABA) Active & Unrestricted NC Medical License (clean file for quick temps) Proficiency in regional blocks & OB anesthesia Ability to cover days + call Comfortable in a mixed supervision / solo model Long-term stability — ongoing monthly coverage needs Predictable workflow with a structured 3-MD rotation Engaged OR team and well-supported CRNA group Diverse case mix without hearts, heads, or high-acuity trauma Scenic location in the NC mountains — perfect for outdoor lovers White-glove Rhino credentialing & travel coordination Bridge employment gaps or transitions between permanent positions by taking on locum assignments, maintaining income and professional engagement during transitional periods.
