Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with both general and vascular ultrasound experience for a rotating shift position.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital ultrasound unit handling both vascular and general ultrasound exams
  • Covers OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations
  • Mixed shifts including Thursdays (3 : 30 PM - 7 : 30 PM) and Friday through Sunday (7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM)
  • Rotating 8-hour shifts with weekend and holiday coverage required
  • Potential to float to affiliated sites including Addison Gilbert Hospital and Lahey Outpatient Center in Danvers, MA
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders
  • Flexibility required for floating to off-site locations and participating in holiday and on-call rotations
  • Pass / fail testing for Tele / ECG and Medication may be required at some campuses
  • No locals allowed unless specifically approved on a case-by-case basis, minimum 50-mile radius required
  • Returning employees must adhere to the 6-month break policy before being eligible for consideration

  • ARDMS certification in hand
  • Vascular ultrasound and general ultrasound experience required
  • MA ultrasound license required if applicable
  • Must have separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility for at least 6 months to be considered
  • COVID vaccine and booster, and seasonal Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
