Accreditation Project Leader
Nonprofits First is seeking an Accreditation Project Leader to join our team. In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for nonprofit agencies seeking accreditation, providing them with the direction, supervision, and guidance they need to successfully complete and maintain their accreditation. This is a unique opportunity to use your nonprofit expertise to help organizations become more effective and sustainable.
What You'll Do
As our Accreditation Project Leader , you will manage all aspects of the Accreditation process for a designated caseload of nonprofit agencies. You'll provide one-on-one technical assistance , coaching, and on-site reviews to ensure agencies successfully navigate the process and meet our standards.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Accreditation Management : Oversee a caseload of nonprofit agencies, providing technical assistance to ensure compliance with standards. You will determine if submitted documents are complete and accurate , identify any issues, and direct agencies through the process using coaching and resources.
- Data Analysis : Review and analyze data and reports to ensure compliance with regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices.
- Volunteer Support : Train and evaluate current and potential Accreditation volunteers. You'll also prepare materials for them and supervise their performance during on-site reviews.
- Tool Administration : Administer the ongoing development and maintenance of our Accreditation software, The Pathway 2 Excellence (P2E) Accreditation Tool. This includes ensuring all links and materials are up-to-date and functional, and troubleshooting issues with vendors. You will also deliver training and technical assistance to agencies on how to use the tool.
- Project Leadership : Collaborate on and / or lead special projects that benefit the organization as a whole . You will also conduct research, generate innovative ideas to improve the Accreditation process, and provide outreach about the Accreditation approach to key stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
Experience : Bachelor's degree with two years of relevant experience. Nonprofit experience is preferred but not required .Skills : Strong verbal and written communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Technical Knowledge : Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Core Competencies : Ability to exercise independent judgment, analyze and report data, and prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.Interpersonal Abilities : Superior customer service skills and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.Bonus : Bilingual ability in Spanish or Creole is a plus.Special Requirements
Travel : This position requires frequent local travel.
