What You'll Do :

  • Promotes safety by leading by example, participating in safety engagement and following all safety guidelines / procedures
  • Stock primary and slitter machines and roll wrap with required material and remove processed stock
  • Move and dump waste carts from primaries and slitter machines
  • Uses computer to prepare slitter specifications and to check inventory
  • Performs safety checks and changes LP tanks
  • Monitor poly car, switch compartments, log compartment changes (requires climbing)
  • Load scrap / junk material
  • Regular and reliable attendance

We're Looking For :

  • High school diploma or GED, or combination of education and experience
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Solid computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Previous fork truck operation experience
  • Ability to sit for 12 hours and to climb up and off fork truck
  • Communicate in a courteous and positive manner
  • Must have the ability to wear personal protective equipment including ear plugs, safety glasses and steel toe shoes

    • Shift Details :

  • A Crew, 12 Hour Day Shift, Rotating 2-2-3

    • This position will work a 12-hour shift on a compressed work schedule working 3 days one week and 4 the next week, including every other weekend
