About the Position

Specialty : RN – Newborn Nursery

Experience : 1+ year of nursery or maternal-child nursing preferred

License : Active State or Compact RN License

Certifications : BLS – AHA, NRP required

Must-Have : Experience with newborn assessments, thermoregulation, feeding support, and parent education

Description : The Newborn Nursery RN provides specialized care to healthy newborns during the immediate postpartum period. Responsibilities include performing head-to-toe assessments, monitoring vitals, supporting breastfeeding and formula feeding, administering newborn medications, and collaborating with pediatricians to ensure safe discharge planning.
