SUMMARY :
- Act as the principal liaison between the Quality and Manufacturing groups.
- Audit, enforce and train other associates on all aspects of the quality policy.
- Should be self-directed and work well with minimal supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Able to run parts using PC-DMIS Software packageAble to program CMM using CAD through PC-DMISPPAP & Data collection & ability to analyze / interpret dataExperience using SPC ( Statistical Process Control ) toolsAble to read blueprintsKnowledgeable in GD&T ( Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing )Conduct destructive testing of the weld (draw cup) for correlation studies as neededHold non-conforming materials (use inventory management)Sort through non-conforming material as necessary to aid in dispositionPerform all capability studies and analyze process variancesInteract with internal & external customers all PSO’s & PPAP’s as neededRun all extra testing required as part of validation process after quarantineProblem solves (work with operations on shift to determine root cause of material on hold and make the appropriate changes to limit the amount of material placed on hold)Perform control plan audits. Work with engineers to update as neededPerform annual dimensional layouts per customer requirements and any additional as requestedPerform Process / Product and LPA AuditsIssue gages to production as necessaryAssist with or answer 8D assignments on customer rejectsUpdate ICP’s as needed for various programs as assignedAbility to generate new form / work instructions / checksheetsAssist the Quality Manager and Quality Engineer as assignedAbility to write Operator Instruction for new gagesQUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE :
Associate degree or higher preferred or a minimum of a High School diploma / GEDMinimum of three (3) years of experience operating CMM Machinery .Previous metrology experience and CAD desired.
