About The Position

Job Title : CT / X-ray Tech

Profession : Healthcare

Shift : Monday Through Thursday

Hours per Shift : 8

Experience : Minimum 2 years preferred

License : Active VA License required

Certifications : AHA BLS, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R

Must-Have : Strong IV skills

Description :

Must be a dual modality Tech (CT and X-ray).

Active VA State license is required upon submission.

Common studies performed include CT of Heads, Abdomen, Pelvis, Angiography, and extremities.

Strong IV skills are essential.

X-ray routine and stat exams will be performed.

Expected number of studies per day ranges from 0-15, with a maximum of 22 exams, though this is rare.

Experience with EMR / Equipment Brand EPIC is preferred.

Familiarity with Fuji PACs is desired.

No weekend requirements.

No on-call duties.

Holiday coverage includes one major and one minor holiday, which will be incorporated into the work schedule.

The primary location for the position is an advanced imaging center.

Floor-specific orientation will be provided.

PACS Visage experience is preferred.

CT equipment consists of GE units, and X-ray units are from Philips.

Willingness to float as needed to cover other facilities is required.
