Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Type : Travel RN – Cardiac Stepdown / IMC

Location : Salisbury, Maryland 21801 (Eastern Shore)

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 16, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour night shifts

Hours per Week : 36 (guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,990 - $2,130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or compact state

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Intermediate Care (IMC), Cardiac Stepdown, or ICU nursing

Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

Ability to attend mandatory orientation (dates : 11 / 17 and 12 / 01)

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care for individuals requiring continuous cardiac and respiratory monitoring in an Intermediate Care (IMC) setting

Manage patients with complex conditions such as sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, post-open-heart surgery, and those on cardiac infusions or non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP / CPAP)

Rapidly respond to changes in patient hemodynamics or respiratory status

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans

Educate and advocate for patients and their families throughout the care process

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a fast-paced IMC environment
