Job Description

The Maintenance & Reliability Manager will provide maintenance and reliability support and services to include mechanical, instrumentation and electrical repair, contractor supervision, final inspection and necessary training for team and operators.

  • Manage plant maintenance function to include mechanical, electrical and instrumentation functions. Utilize methods to continuously improve efficiency of resources, planning, scheduling and execution of work orders.
  • Collaborate with project engineering group to include scope development, equipment specifications and construction and startup assistance
  • Manage contractor program, including qualification of contractors and ensuring they are utilized according to company standards and practices.
  • Manage process control function, including strategic and short-term reliability and redundancy
  • Manage Mechanical Integrity program
  • In all areas of responsibility, ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, safety and health regulations and requirements
  • Develop individuals and the organization through training, mentoring and managing performance.
  • Travel Requirements : Minimal

Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required. Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering may be considered if combined with 10+ years of mechanical maintenance experience.
  • 10+ years of related experience required; manufacturing / industrial environment preferred.
  • Experience supervising and / or leading plant maintenance teams required.
  • Experience planning, managing and implementing expense projects.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively through oral and written communication.
  • Skilled in problem-solving and troubleshooting complex technical challenges.
  • Working knowledge of cash flow accounting, and a broad understanding of structural, civil, electrical, mechanical and process control engineering.
  • Leadership skills to include organizational, facilitation, teambuilding, mentoring and delegation.
