The Sr. Software Engineer - DevOps is a key member of the team, contributing to foundational operations that directly impact the business, but also generating creative ideas and collaborating with teammates to improve products and solutions.
You will be responsible for the following :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure and applications on Google Cloud Platform
- Develop automation scripts and workflows for deployment, configuration, and monitoring using tools like PowerShell, Bash, and Azure DevOps pipelines for deployment of infrastructure
- Contribute to the design and implementation of CI / CD pipelines to enable continuous integration and deployment
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources for improved scalability and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in a timely manner to ensure maximum uptime
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing
- Participate in an on-call rotation
- Collaborate via documentation tools like Confluence, Miro and SharePoint
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 4-6 years’ related work experienceExperience in Software Engineering with a focus on DevOps practicesExperience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as TerraformFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools such as New Relic, Azure Monitor, and Site24x7Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentPreferred Qualifications :
Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.Experience with source control systems like GitHubKnowledge of security best practices in cloud environmentsLI-AH1
