Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Coordinator – Permitting who will play a key role in managing the permitting process for telecom network projects. This role is ideal for someone who excels at organization, communication, and problem-solving—and who is eager to grow into a leadership position over time.
The successful candidate will start by managing core permitting responsibilities and gradually take on mentoring, training, and quality oversight, with the potential to transition into a supervisory or management role as they demonstrate capability and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the end-to-end permitting process for network builds, upgrades, and maintenance.
Prepare, track, and submit permit applications to municipalities, utilities, and regulatory agencies.
Maintain accurate and organized records of applications, approvals, and communications.
Track deadlines and flag risks or delays, providing proactive solutions.
Collaborate with engineering, construction, and legal teams to meet compliance requirements.
Provide updates and reporting on permitting progress to internal leadership and clients.
Support training of internal team members in drafting and permit processes.
Contribute to performance reviews and quality control, preparing for eventual leadership responsibilities.
Qualifications
Required :
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Excel and other organizational tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Experience in customer support, project coordination, or administrative functions.
Ability to work in-office Monday–Friday with flexibility for occasional weekends.
Preferred :
Familiarity with telecom, construction, or permitting processes.
Interest in developing leadership and team management skills.
Prior experience coordinating with municipalities or utilities.
Familiarity with CAD software.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range : $60,000–$65,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
