Warehouse Technician

Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a world-renowned academic research institute of Louisiana State University, is seeking a Warehouse Technician 1, 2, or 3 within Facilities Management.

The primary function of the Warehouse Technician is to perform operational support tasks, such as inventory handling, clerical, custodial, equipment operation, and basic maintenance, at Pennington Biomedical Research Center.

An ideal candidate should possess the following competencies :

• Following Policies & Procedures : The ability to comply with policies and procedures of the organization as well as State Civil Service rules, and all applicable federal and state laws.
• Communicating Effectively : The ability to relay information correctly and appropriately to connect people and ideas.
• Making Accurate Judgments : The ability to form an opinion objectively and decisively based on relevant information and in accordance with established standards.
