Application Support Analyst

6+ Months Contract
Scope of Work, Skills and / or Qualifications :
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, Go, Python, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript (ReactJS), Swift, Kotlin, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Familiarity with database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and web application / server-side frameworks such as ASP.net, Next.js, Node.js, .NET, .NET Framework, etc.
- Understanding of database management systems for storing and retrieving data including SQL, Microsoft SQL developer, Oracle SQL Developer, API, Kubernetes, etc.
- Interpret application logs to diagnose issues.
- Experience with ticket management systems such as ServiceNow.
- Respond to technical problems that occur abruptly and require immediate solutions.
- Document long-term changes and short-term changes implemented.
- Direct a team of software developers with any application enhancements and / or day-to-day maintenance.
- Assess customer complaints, inquiries, or problems reported vi variety of channels, such as but not limited to, email, phone, chat, ticket, and more.
- Ensure that client systems are fully operational, and any loss of service is restored in a timely and efficient manner.
- Deployment of service releases, patches, requests, and customizations.
- Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures.
- Deliver regular and customized application training to users within the Agency.
- Prepare maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the application systems.
