Maintenance Facilities Manager

Job Description

You will report directly into the Plant Manager and have the opportunity to :

  • Administer and optimize MaintainX : configure assets, permissions, templates; ensure all reactive / preventive work flows through system
  • Build and maintain PM schedule with job plans, time estimates, tools / parts, and safety steps
  • Train techs / leads on mobile use and documentation; audit data quality and close-out notes
  • Report KPIs : PM compliance, reactive vs. planned ratio, response / repair time, MTBF, backlog age, parts turns
  • Promote Safety-First culture; enforce LOTO, guarding, and safe practices
  • Maintain documentation : JSAs, LOTO, SDS, permits / inspections (hoists, compressors, fire systems)
  • Support contractor safety and ITAR / controlled-work compliance
  • Oversee environmental compliance : manage waste streams, manifests, pickups, and training
  • Lead Facilities team; manage building systems, grounds, and service contracts
  • Schedule vendor work, control site access, and ensure close-out documentation
  • Manage quoting / bid process for facility upgrades and new systems
  • Direct 1st / 2nd-shift maintenance teams; set daily priorities via ERP / dispatch and production needs
  • Coach techs on troubleshooting, standard work, documentation, and safety
  • Conduct check-ins, performance reviews, and manage on-call rotation
  • Own parts program : set min / max levels, organize crib, run cycle counts, track usage in MaintainX
  • Build / manage annual maintenance budget; monitor spend vs. plan and quantify reliability-driven savings

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have :

  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance manufacturing experience in a CNC Machine shop Environment
  • 2+ years experience overseeing maintenance employees across multiple shifts
  • Strong hands-on CNC machinery experience
  • Preventative maintenance experience
  • OSHA, LOTO, and EHS knowledge
  • Safety procedure oversight and training skills
  • CMMS admin experience (MaintainX preferred)
