Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a travel contract in Keyser, West Virginia. This role is ideal for an adaptable nurse who is confident working independently in a small-unit environment while still enjoying the support of a strong care team.

Job Details :

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour nights, weekends as scheduled

Hours per Week : 36 hours

Floating : To Med-Surg / Telemetry as needed (occasional 1 : 56 ratio based on acuity; never with critical ICU patients)

ICU Unit Details :

4-bed ICU functioning as step-down

Ratios : Typically 2 : 1, can increase to 4 : 1 with low acuity patients

Typical cases : BiPAP patients, insulin drips, Cardizem, occasional Levophed; vents are very rare

Staffed with 1 RN + 1 Tech, connected to Med-Surg unit

Tele-ICU support from intensivists at sister facilities and local attending physicians

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of ICU or step-down experience

BLS and ACLS (AHA)

WV or Compact RN license

PALS preferred, or willingness to obtain during assignment

Special Notes :

All submissions must include an unexpired drivers license

Any background hits must be disclosed at time of submission
