Fire Sprinkler Qualifier, Drafter, Designer

Key Responsibilities :

• Engage in the preparation of detailed Computer Aided Design (HydroCAD) drawings to assure the efficient and effective placement of our products and systems
• Assure that designs are consistent with required specifications and building code.
• Applies experience and simple judgment to make decisions within defined options or standard protocols – follows through on issues
• Create HydroCAD drawings from sketches, verbal instructions and / or sample parts.
• Examine drawings and other engineering documentation to verify completeness and accuracy of data
• Assist the engineering department in the development, evaluation process, and improvement of manufacturing methods within the plant facility.
• Demonstrate safe work practices in accordance with Mircom’s Safety Program, OSHA, and EPA
• Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
• Able to perform trigonometric mathematical and / or statistical operations regarding engineering product design and applications
• Lead a team of 20
