General Ledger Application Support Analyst (Traveling)

Overview

General Ledger Application Support Analyst (Traveling) role at Payrailz. This position requires extensive travel to client sites and is suited for candidates who thrive in a remote / hybrid, client-facing environment.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Implementation, design, and training of the General Ledger Application.
• Consulting with banking clients to design parameter sets, assisting with data conversion validation, and training on General Ledger applications.
• Coordinate with other application analysts and programmers to analyze and audit transactions flowing through core systems.
• Travel with a conversion team to customer sites for software setup, training, conversion, and implementations.
• Analyze the customer's existing products / processes and map the existing system to the JHA product.
• Prepare the customer for installation, guide them through the installation process, and provide training or post-installation support.
• Set up systems for customers (parameter setup, creating job files for processing, etc.) and ensure related business processes run on the software.
• Provide software support and guidance by answering questions on function, features, and usage; support may be on-site or remote.
• Communicate customer needs / expectations with programmers, team members, and team leaders.
• Maintain effective communication with customers throughout the project or case.
• Identify and track customer issues and ensure proper resolution; maintain an issue list by application and forward to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare training materials and documentation for customers and internal users.
• May perform other job duties as assigned.
