We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional medical administrative support and assisting healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as experience in various medical specialties including internal medicine, dermatology, and emergency medicine.

Duties

  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing inquiries.
  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Conduct preliminary patient assessments including taking vital signs and documenting medical histories.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated on medical-surgical procedures and best practices in the field.

    • Experience

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, with exposure to internal medicine, dermatology, or emergency medicine being advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Must have a valid WA state license at time of submission.\n\n \n\nOtolaryngology Medical Assistant - Seattle, WA\n\n- Schedule : 5x8hr, 0730-1600, Mon-Fri (no weekends)\n- Experience : 6 months; ENT is preferred\n- First-timers accepted : Yes\n- Weekend REQ : No\n- Is on-call REQ? No\n- Will this traveler need to float between like units? As Needed Within Skillset (Floating to sister clinics may be required on an as needed basis)\n- Locals accepted : Yes, LOCALS ONLY\n- Special Notes : Looking for candidates who are wanting to work in fast-paced clinics.\n\n\n
