Position Purpose : To provide friendly and efficient food service to guests.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Check pantry to ensure adequate supply of seasonings and food items.
- Report any inventory shortages to the Food & Beverage Shift Manager.
- Prepare sauces, garnishes, and side dish items before they are needed.
- Prepare short order food items when they are ordered. Become familiar with preparing and pricing all menu items.
- Accept payment, make change, and operate point of sale system to record and track sales.
- Provide courteous, accurate, and efficient guest services.
- Follow all food safety ordinances and regulations.
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. Monitor equipment and report any maintenance concerns as needed.
- Breakdown workstation and restock items for next shift.
- Comply with tip reporting procedures and Title 31 requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education / Qualifications :
Previous grill cook experience in a fast paced or high volume establishment preferred.Must be at least 18 years old.Requires food handler’s permit.Requires liquor license.Licensing :
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.Work Requirements :
Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily.Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
