Overview
Training specialists plan, conduct, and administer programs that train and continually improve the knowledge, skills, and abilities of military personnel. Training programs may be conducted in a classroom, in a laboratory, in the field, or online. Some specialize by functional area, such as military-specific / tactical.
Military Training
All enlisted service members complete basic military training which includes time spent in a classroom and in the field and covers tactical and survival skills physical training military life and customs and weapons training. Training specialists are subject matter experts in their field. Length of training varies depending on specialty.
