Job Title : Tool and Die Maker – 1st Shift

Location : Middletown, KY

Pay : $30.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule : Monday – Thursday | 6 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and mechanically driven Tool and Die Maker to maintain, troubleshoot, and fabricate production tooling and dies. This position plays a critical role in supporting tool readiness, minimizing downtime, and ensuring high product quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform repair, maintenance, and changeover of stamping dies

Fabricate and machine new die components as needed

Set up and operate lathes, grinders, mills, and other machine shop equipment

Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions

Perform preventative maintenance and maintain tool inventory

Document all tool development, repairs, and modifications accurately

Assist in training and mentoring of less-experienced technicians

Use CAD software (SolidWorks or similar) when needed

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualifications & Skills

3+ years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker in a manufacturing environment

Strong working knowledge of stamping tools, dies, and production equipment

Skilled in blueprint reading and precision measurement

Experience with manual and / or CNC machining equipment

Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) is a plus

High school diploma or GED required

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work with hand tools

Must pass a drug screen and background check

Steel-toe boots required
